Community Clinic of High Point Receives Gold Rating from National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics

The Community Clinic of High Point has received a 2026 gold rating from the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics’ (NAFC) Quality Standards Program, recognizing the clinic’s commitment to providing quality, equitable and accessible health care to the community.

The NAFC Quality Standards Program is designed to quantify and qualify the care provided by the nation’s network of free and charitable clinics. Member organizations voluntarily submit information about policies and procedures in place at their clinics and attest that they have successfully incorporated the standards into their operations.

For the Community Clinic of High Point, the gold rating demonstrates the organization’s commitment to maintaining high standards of care while helping ensure patients have access to the health services they need.

“We are very proud to receive the NAFC’s 2026 gold rating because it represents more than a title — it reflects our commitment to the people and communities we serve,” said Molly Jordan, executive director of the Community Clinic of High Point. “Our patients deserve quality care, and this recognition affirms that we have established the policies, procedures, and practices necessary to provide that care. We are grateful to our staff, volunteers, and supporters who make it possible for us to continue serving our community.”

Community Clinic of High Point board president Lee Nunn echoed Jordan’s sentiments.

“This gold rating is a tremendous reflection of the dedication and heart our staff, volunteers, and providers bring to CCHP every single day,” said Nunn. “As president of the board, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand the compassion, professionalism, and commitment that goes into caring for our patients.”

NAFC quality standards address key areas of clinic operations, including administrative responsibilities, clinic and pharmacy responsibilities, credentialing and privileging systems, patient care and risk management systems.

By voluntarily participating in the Quality Standards Program, NAFC member organizations demonstrate their commitment to accountability and continuous attention to the quality and safety of the care they provide.

The National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics’ mission is to build healthy communities for all through quality, equitable and accessible health care. The organization and its members are dedicated to ensuring that patients receive access to quality health care regardless of their ability to pay.

The Community Clinic of High Point’s 2026 gold rating underscores the important role free and charitable clinics play in strengthening communities by providing access to health care for individuals and families who may otherwise face barriers to receiving care.
